Extroverts recharge through encounters with people and even more so when their ideas or business are holistically linked. I know because I am one – an extrovert, that is.
Starting in June, we (my family and I) will be moving to London to launch GiANT Worldwide. This venture will focus on expanding the message and mission of humility-based leadership around the globe.
As many of you know our company, GiANT Impact produces and operates the Chick-fil-A Leadercast. What you may not know is that this event has become the largest one-day leadership event in the world with over 140K people attending in 800 cities in over 20 countries.
Whomever is President in the days to follow may we be reminded that we have the power to influence and we have a voice that is cast in a vote. Let’s work to be constructionist of this great country not deconstructionist as we argue for the things that are valuable and important to us. Elections are a reminder of that.
Humility is a virtue. Pride is not. Humility comes when people are secure. Pride comes when they are insecure.
I believe “successful” people are inhibiting their impact and influence because of an over protection of their lifestyles. It is as if their possessions are the tails that wag the dog.
