This blog post may seem a little simple but don’t mistake simple for simplistic. It’s often the simple things that create the most profound impact.
It’s the start of summer and some of us are already tired. Others have gotten away from their routines. Regardless of where you are or what you are facing, there are three things that we all can do today to get our minds recharged and our leadership realigned. Three things that will not only benefit you but others as well.
Here you go:
1. Thank Someone Today – Thank someone today for a specific thing they have done for you. It can be recent or over time. Thank them in person, via phone, in an email or via a hand written note. Be intentional and be authentic.
2. Smile All Day If You Can – Don’t underestimate the power of a smile. Look for the good. Choose happiness. Smile.
3. Sing In Your Car – Find one song on CD, radio, playlist, etc. and jam to it. Four minutes of car tunes. Seriously, try it. Music can change your mood and your perspective (if you let it).
